Food is great. Exactly the type of breakfast I like. Service was great, very nice people. Steak (skirt) and eggs were cooked to order. I like the decor as well. Will return again.

Super long line so be prepared. The lines did not stop, but it does go by fairly quickly. Took us about 30-45 minutes on a Sunday morning. Serves were really nice and polite... food was really good, super big portions. Seating inside is fairly small, but there's a lot of outdoor seating so be dressed and prepared to probably sit outside. Overall good experience. I'd definitely go back, but the line was killer (felt like I was waiting for a ride at Disneyland)

5/5 service, all the waiters were helpful and sweet. they have all their utensils, water, & sauces on a little cart for self service but our waiters grabbed everything for us as we sat down. 5/5 ambiance! pretty outdoor seating with plenty of room upstairs and down. great amount of sun but i would be careful of sitting upstairs cause it can get a little windy & chilly. 3/5 food - wasn't really anything special. got the jamone omelette with carmelized onions & it was missing the onions? only came with roasted peppers and ham. got the short rib hash and the meat was very tough.

Super tucked away up and on top of a courtyard dining area. It's not in the little food court right off the street, but back someways on the 2nd level of the outdoor dining area. The interior is no frills but nicely decorated. You order at the front and food is brought to you. I got the tres leches French toast. Very decadent and fluffy. You can definitely appreciate the challah bread. A tad too sweet, but I've seen worse for sure. A bit pricey for what it is. But overall a really delicious meal.

Eggy Neighborhood Kitchen is a hidden gem in Berkeley, blending comfort and class with a serene atmosphere. As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by a peaceful zen garden patio--perfect for dining on a warm day. Inside, you'll order at the counter, then find a seat and wait for your food to be delivered. I would say to look at menu beforehand, due to it being next to the register you aren't given much time for a look over, and the line can form fairly fast during breakfast hours. Now, to the food The Tres Leches French Toast is a must-try. Soft, fluffy, and perfectly soaked in a subtle sweet milk mixture, it's heavenly. I definitely need the recipe to the berry sauce they top it off with. The Fried Chicken Eggs Benedict was good, but didn't stand out to me. It consisted of Crispy fried chicken, perfectly poached eggs, and rich hollandaise, but lacking in spice. A real bummer. The house crispy potatoes are the definition of perfection--golden, crunchy, and seasoned just right. And don't miss the chicken wings, tossed in a spicy-sweet glaze that's seriously addictive. Whether you're sitting outside or inside, the vibe here is laid-back, and the food hits all the right notes. Eggy Neighborhood Kitchen offers a delicious, lit brunch experience, with good music and I'll definitely be back to try the birria tacos! **Pro Tip**: If it's a sunny day, grab a table on the patio. You won't regret it.

I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars. Antonio and his family provided the most top notch service I have experienced in a long time. I can here with a friend of mine and I can't wait to return. The food was thr most enjoyable food that I have eaten in quite awhile. I could not stop telling Antonio how much I enjoyed the food. Ordered the eggs Benedict over polenta!!! Words can not explain how good it was. My friend ordered the california Benedict and we shared an order of chicken and waffles. Antonio was gracious and provided us a complimentary order of the churro waffles. Absolutely fantastic! The fresh squeezed orange juice was absolutely delicious. I will be ordering these items again. And I highly recommend this restaurant. They are good so can be very busy with limited seating inside, but there is outside seating as well. Beautiful location!

Tip: 1) Parking can be difficult. I'd suggest parking in the residential areas (free parking) 2) Wait on the weekend can be quite long. We waited ~40mins. However I came with multiple friends and we got to catch up on life. I've been to several other brunch spots in Berkeley but a friend recommended this place and I am so glad I got to try out this place. Hot take, but I think Eggy's is probably one of the best brunch spots in Berkeley hands down. Staff was friendly and quick to get all of our orders in. Given the long line, the staff were working extremely hard to clear tables and to move the line along. Below is an outline of what we ordered: Tres leches french toast: 5/5, these were outstanding! I've yet to see these at any other establishments. They were not overly sweet, and the french toast still held their shape well despite drizzled in the tres leches sauce/syrup. The fruits added a great refreshing touch. MUST TRY!! Chilaquiles: 5/5, i've been to several parts of Mexico for my travels and these are some of the best chilaquiles i've ever had. Upon arrival to the table, the tortilla chips still held their texture so well. With each and every bite, there an element of crunchy, savory, and spicy; essentially a flavor bomb with every bite. These were so addicting. Chicken and waffles: 4.5/5, probably overshadowed by the other two listed above, but still great! I'd recommend sharing "family style" with several other friends so that you can try a bunch of dishes. Drinks: Mimosas paired well with the dishes as well as the dirty horchatas. Drinks were a bit expensive imo, but worth it! I would definitely come back again.

The service was great. The food was amazing. We had to wait 30 minutes before we could order. I would advice to order online 30 minutes before collecting or sitting in. The manager was professional and I will be definitely heading back next time.
